I recently donated a commissioned piece to First Baptist Church of Glenarden.  The women involved in this program completed a series of classes and were able to relate and share their stories of tragic experiences through childhood with one another. They were all  honored at a ceremony held  on July 23, 2011.  Four stories were shared at the ceremony that coincided with the four pieces of artwork. Together the art created a huge heart with puzzle pieces that represented the women and how they have all learned to put their lives back in order to move forward.  It was with great pleasure to be a part of this project.
